Logan poets celebrate spring with poetry walk

Rain doesn’t stop the U.S. Postal Service, and apparently it doesn’t stop the poets, either.

Earlier today, nearly a dozen Logan residents braved the rain and gathered in Adams Park to appreciate the month of April through both nature and poetry, in hopes of drawing inspiration for their own work.

Sandra Cisneros visits Tanner Center for discussion, reading, signing

On Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., Latino author Sandra Cisneros will appear at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center in Salt Lake City to discuss her writing with RadioWest executive producer and host Doug Fabrizio, as well as read excerpts from her wealth of published work and sign books for attendees.

Young adult authors meet for AuthorLink at Provo library

On Saturday night, on the fourth floor of the Provo City Library in a small gallery space known as “The Attic,” more than a hundred readers gathered, excitedly awaiting the arrival of their favorite authors.

Saturday brought the latest installment of the library’s AuthorLink series, featuring New York Times best-selling young adult authors – and close friends – James Dashner, Brendan Reichs and Ally Condie in an unconventional book reading, signing and panel that quickly devolved into an evening of insults and jokes.
